ARRA encourages you to help the Forest Service designate roads and trails in your area.

You can help keep roads and trails open in your area by helping the Forest Service with its route identification process.  ARRA and other organizations have established a master database to track and monitor the progress of the designation process.

Each forest is undertaking an individual process to designate a system of routes, trails and areas where OHV use will be permitted.  Without input and participation from the OHV enthusiast community, forests will almost assuredly loose access to many of the roads and trails we love to ride.

Let us know what’s going on in your area.  Here are many ways you can help!

  • Learn more about the route designation process.
  • Review the Land Access Notification Database (LAND) web site.
  • Let us know if you have been active at a National Forest in your area.
  • Send a notice of an upcoming meeting regarding OHV use.
  • Tell us about a recently completed meeting or hearing.
  • Report on how your local forest intends to implement the Travel Management Rule.
  • Stop by or call your local forest and ask to be placed on its mailing/email list for updates.  Click here for a directory of addresses and phone numbers for our National Forests.
