We would like to ask our Kentucky ARRA members for their clubs’ help in the effort to create a master plan for the Lincoln Trail Area Development District (ADD). Counties within the ADD include: Breckenridge, Grayson, Larue, Hardin, Nelson, Washington, Marion and Meade.
Requests have been made from other stakeholders to get all user groups involved with the process to improve recreation opportunities in the area. Getting motorized user groups involved is specifically requested. It is important that OHV enthusiasts get involved with planning processes so the OHV community has a seat at the table and can help create and improve OHV opportunities. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
For further information or if you would like to get your club involved with the process, please contact Vince Carman who is affiliated with Kentucky Bicycle and Bikeway Commission, KyMBA Lincoln Trails, Radcliff Forestry and Conservation Board, Lincoln Trail District and Boy Scouts of America, at Nailhead455@gmail.com or 502-442-9692.
Take the ARRA Quiz to test your knowledge! Then, share it with friends and family to test their familiarity with National Monuments, too.
Americans for Responsible Recreational Access (ARRA) was formed to ensure that Americans are not arbitrarily denied the right to responsibly experience and enjoy the public lands that belong to the citizens of the United States. The members of ARRA, which include horseback riders, personal watercraft users, off-highway vehicle and snowmobile riders, and vacationing families, have joined together to provide input on decisions regarding land use designation, recreation opportunities, and preservation. Its members seek responsible consideration of competing activities, which are based on sound environmental principles.
